Florikan is a leader in sustainable, controlled release fertilization products and practices serving the professional horticulture, agriculture, golf, homeowner, and landscape industries for nearly 30 years.
Florikan specializes in polymer coated fertilizer technologies such as Nutricote® and Florikote®. These controlled release fertilizers reduce the need for multiple fertilizer applications while improving crop performance. Our Staged Nutrient Release® blending technology times the release of plant nutrients to a crop’s uptake pattern, thereby reducing waste and increasing efficiency of the fertilizer.
Our mission is to be the most respected manufacturer of controlled release fertilizers and custom fertilizer blends in the United States. We aim to educate users of fertilizers about how they can most effectively and efficiently apply nutrients to agricultural crops, turfgrass, and ornamental plants. Florikan operates fertilizer coating and custom blending facilities in Sarasota, Florida and holds two patents for its coating and blending technologies. Our fertilizer products are available at major home improvement retailers and professional garden supply centers throughout Florida and the United States.
