Florikan has been proudly serving the professional horticulture industry with the highest quality fertilizers since 1982.  We have continuously challenged ourselves to “Help the Grower Find a Better Way” by developing controlled release fertilizer solutions which reduce labor, improve plant performance and lower costs.  For these efforts we are proud to have received the American Nursery and Landscaper Association (ANLA) Allied Partner of the Year award in 2004.

In its custom blending and bagging facility, Florikan has various fertilizer components and release types to create blends tailored to a specific crop, soil type or growing region.  Florikan manufactures fertilizer blends to meet the needs of any nursery or greenhouse grower including annuals and perennials, woody ornamentals, trees and tropical foliage.  Our products are available nationally through our participating distributors. 

Florikan is proud to be the largest distributor and blender of Nutricote® products in North America.  We have the ability to formulate fertilizers with over 10 different analyses of Nutricote® products among 8 different release types.  Florikan was the first company to market Nutricote® in the USA and we worked with Chisso-Asahi, the manufacturer of Nutricote®, to develop the Nutricote Total® analyses.  We are the only company to offer custom blends of 2 and 3 Stage Nutricote® fertilizers along with blends of Nutricote® containing our Florikote™ individual nutrient components to create our patented Staged Nutrient Release™ (SNR) products. In certain areas of the USA and in export markets, Florikan also offers stand-alone Florikote™ products which do not contain Nutricote®.

Florikan prides itself in having best-in-class customer service and is honored to have been named a Red Cross Hero for its efforts to support Florida nurserymen after the devastating hurricanes in 1991, 2004 and 2005.  During these times of crises, Florikan dedicated its staff and fleet of trucks to gather and deliver relief to its customers to ensure a quick and stable recovery.
