At Florikan E.S.A., the safety and well-being of our employees and our customers is always our top priority. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and taking steps to help keep our communities safe. During these unsettling and unprecedented times, we recognize the important role that we play in continuing to supply our customers the needed products to keep our industry running. As of now, all our facilities are open and plan to remain open for the foreseeable future. We would like to share with you some steps we are taking during this critical period.
● We are working with each employee to plan for their individual safety. This Includes:
Distribution of additional sanitation supplies where needed.
Providing additional PPE to staff as needed to ensure safety.
Restricting all non-essential business travel.
Restricting all non-essential third-party contractors from corporate office and manufacturing facility.
Educating staff on “social distancing” (roughly 6 feet) and encouraging the same with positive reinforcement
No in person meetings over 3 people from within staff with social distancing of 6 feet required
Coordination of additional time off for those who need it, including paid leave for those who test positive to ensure their livelihood as they recover.
● We are proactively reaching out to our industry, business and other partners to fulfill as much of our customer demand as possible; understanding that this is the busiest time for many of our customers. This Includes:
Monitoring supply chain and possible interruptions in that chain.
Partnering with suppliers to localize raw materials needed in production.
At Florikan we remain optimistic about the future of the Horticultural, Specialty Agricultural, Golf & Turf and Commercial Landscape Industries. No matter the situation our mission will remain as it has been from day one, “Evolving plant nutrition through advanced fertilizer technologies”.
